The facility has three types of storage options available, namely;
- Controlled Atmosphere Storage – 4,000 MT (26 Chambers)
- Cold / Chiller Storage - 4,000 MT (26 Chambers)
- Custom Bonded Cold Storage - 4,000 MT (26 Chambers)
The broad features are as under;
- It is a state-of-art storage facility setup on 17 acres of prime land at industrial
estate in Rai, Sonipat, Haryana, near Delhi and is operational since 2007.
- It is biggest of its kind in the country (12,000 MT) at one location.
- It has 78 chambers, which can be individually operated from centralized
computerised control and can have independent protocol settings.
- It is equipped with latest Computerised Controls for
- Temperature
- Oxygen
- Carbon Di Oxide
- Nitrogen Generators
- Carbon Dioxide Scrubbers
- Grading and sorting lines imported from Sammo, Italy.
- Automatic washing and waxing facility.
- Both bulk and retail packing machines from Italy.
- Refrigeration and air conditioning equipment are from Germany, China etc.
- For storage of Fruits and Vegetables we have plastic bins made of food grade
plastic from Israel.
- 200% power backup.
- All movements inside the facility are by battery operated forklifts and electric
stackers.
